This well executed gilt bronze French mirror makes for a great focal point in a room. It is in the Rococo style having pierced foliage decoration with c-scrolls and floral devices all so typical of French rococo. The mirror has one double socket sconce arm with foliate bobeches. These bronze mirrors were made in France in the Victorian period.
The ormolu surface has survived in wonderful condition with only slight areas of distress. The mirror is original and is missing some of its silvering. The overall mirror has a great patina.
