A midcentury rattan elephant shaped table with a tray top with a Rosenthal Netter label- founded in 1950 as an importer and distributor of decorative arts. The Netters closed their business in the 1970s. Pieces with their label are highly sought after. The base has a shaped elephant with wooden tusks and the rimmed tray top has the Netter label on the bottom along with locators on the bottom to fit securely on the base. It was made in the 1960s and is in excellent condition.
